Cyber
Australia's cyber industry is fortifying its digital frontiers.
With global cyber security spending reaching USD$131 billion in 2017 and an expected 88 per cent increase by 2026, Australia is poised to triple its revenue from cyber security over the next decade.
This burgeoning growth positions our nation to become a global cyber security powerhouse.
Integral to this development are the Australian Cyber Security Growth Network (AustCyber) and the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), both of which are pivotal in advancing cyber protection and nurturing skilled professionals.
However, this rapid expansion brings its own set of challenges. A significant skills shortage looms, with a need for around 18,000 more cyber security workers by 2026.
