World Space Week
The largest space event on Earth, UN-declared World Space Week is held October 4-10 annually as an international celebration of the contribution of space science and technology to the betterment of the human condition.
World Space Week consists of thousands of space-related events held by space agencies, aerospace companies, schools, museums, astronomy clubs, and others in a common timeframe to achieve greater student and public impact through synchronisation.

17th Australian Space Forum
The Andy Thomas Space Foundation is looking forward to welcoming a global audience to the 17th edition of the Australian Space Forum, which will be held on Wednesday 24th July & Thursday 25th July 2024 at the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC).
Supported by the Australian Space Agency and the South Australian Space Industry Centre, the Forum provides the perfect opportunity to stimulate ideas, share information about emerging technologies and network with influential space sector leaders and the broader community.

Australian Youth Aerospace Forum
The AYAF is a five-day live-in conference which provides students in Year 11 and 12 the opportunity to investigate careers and pathways in the aerospace industry. The forum is designed to showcase the various university and industry opportunities available to students upon completion of secondary school.

First Australian Quantum Communications Forum
The First Australian Quantum Communications Forum, convened by CSIRO’s Quantum Technologies Future Science Platform, is set to be a pivotal gathering for industry, research, and government stakeholders. Its primary objective is to foster the advancement of a national ecosystem dedicated to quantum communications technologies.
This event will feature international speakers who will provide valuable insights into the latest developments in quantum communications from around the globe.
Designed to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the field, the conference will feature a mix of keynote addresses, contributed talks, and panel discussions. These sessions are aimed at examining and addressing the critical issues currently facing the quantum communications community. This forum represents a significant step towards enhancing collaboration and innovation in the rapidly evolving field of quantum communications.

ADM Congress
A major Defence/Industry Conference has evolved into a pivotal event in the Defence calendar, attracting over 500 delegates each year.

Quantum Conference and Career Fair
Australia's leading quantum industry event, Quantum Australia 2024, presented by Sydney Quantum Academy, is set to take place on 20-22 February 2024.
The event will be hosted at the state-of-the-art Winx Stand at Royal Randwick, offering a three-day in-person program. This year's theme, ‘Accelerating Impact: From Research to Commercialisation, and Developing Quantum Technology Markets,’ aims to explore various facets of the quantum industry.
The event will feature prominent global quantum experts who will lead thought-provoking panels and presentations, focusing on the latest developments and innovative collaborations in the industry.
Quantum Australia 2024 will also include a Careers Fair, providing an excellent platform for potential employers to engage with Australia's emerging talent, including early career researchers and students. This fair is an exceptional opportunity for attendees to learn, showcase research, expand business networks, and connect with peers.
Having sold out for two consecutive years, Quantum Australia has established itself as a must-attend event in the quantum industry. The 2024 event promises to be an exciting opportunity for those involved in or interested in quantum technology, and attendees are encouraged to secure their participation early to avoid missing out.

International Day of Women and Girls in Science
The United Nations General Assembly established the International Day of Women and Girls in Science to promote equal participation and access for women in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Resolution was passed on 22 December 2015, proclaiming the 11th day of February as an annual observance. Every year, a new theme is selected to emphasise a particular focus for gender equality in science.
